The Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival draws 200,000+ people to downtown Grand Haven each year, making it one of Michigan's largest annual events. Their existing app had fallen so far behind that it wouldn't even run on iOS anymore — leaving attendees without a reliable way to navigate the festival.
We rebuilt the app from the ground up with a central feature that changed how the festival operates: an interactive map letting attendees find stages, vendors, food, and events in real time. That same map data powered something the festival hadn't had before — a printable version they could post throughout downtown Grand Haven, giving the app a physical presence across the event. We shipped on deadline and signed a multi-year support contract to keep it running season after season.
